Our experienced South Jersey HVAC team in Abescon, NJ is proud to showcase one of our recent projects – a full HVAC conversion from oil to natural gas for a residential client. The highlight of the project was the installation of a high-efficiency Daikin – 96 2-Stage Furnace with a 3.5 TON 16.2 SEER2 AC System.
Our team initiated the process by safely removing the existing oil-burning equipment. This entailed disposing of the old refrigerant and disconnecting the condenser, coil, and furnace from the electrical supply and ductwork. Following this, we installed the new Daikin – 96 2 Stage Furnace. The new outside condenser was also installed, equipped with a pad, electrical disconnect, and whip. We then installed the matching coil onto the furnace and connected it to the existing ductwork. The existing lines were flushed and pressure tested. After the heating installation, we connected the high and low-voltage wiring to the indoor and outdoor units. The final stage involved firing up the system and running checks to ensure it was operating at optimal efficiency.

The conversion from oil to natural gas service provides several advantages, including increased efficiency, lower costs, and an eco-friendly operation. It is also less volatile in terms of cost compared to oil, due to most natural gas being produced within the U.S.
